Village People

We did a charter for Surf Aid, where we went to villages assessing earthquake damage. Did I mention we had a few earthquakes? It was very interesting as a few of these villages see outsiders about twice a year. They were extremely welcoming and the kids were total hams. In every village we would have our own escort of about 30 kids. They were so beautiful. Surf Aid has cut malaria way down in many villages and is working on housing and nutrition issues. Because of the earthquakes/tsunamis everyone in the villages is living on top of the nearest hill. Sounds smart to me.
