Anak Krak

This is baby krakatoa. Today it is erupting and people are being evacuated. The firs two pics were taken by Chris on the delivery back to Singapore two weeks ago. Large barrel size rocks and ash were shooting out of the volcano. Anak means child in Indonesian. this is the little guy sitting in Krakatoas shadow. I also put in an erupting shot from the news today and an older shot taken in the 1920's. See how its grown.

Tuapaget

The little town of Tuapajet is where we fuel up in the Mentawais. I just wanted to show the dock we pull up to, it's basically made of sticks. If we happen to have duct tape we might get the pump that is attached to the hose to work, other wise it's wheelbarrows and jerry cans.
